Anthony Foster, a friend of mine from Australia, gave me a new and awesome bannock bread recipe. I had a lot of fun making and eating the results of this recipe.
Here's the bannock bread recipe:
- 2 cups of honey or banna flavoured oats (whatever preferred oats you like to eat)
- 1 cup of pancake mix
- A little bit less then 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 to 1 cup of flour mix
- And last ingredient is 2 tsp of cinnamon powder
Add all dry ingredients together and then add your water until it forms into the perfect dough. I usually like the dough to be a little bit wet when I make it. One tip for over the fire bannock bread in a pan is to get some tin foil and put it over the pane like a lid to retain heat. It also helps to bake the bread on the inside.
I love this sweet bannock bread recipe!
