November on our North Carolina farm is an exciting month for us. Deer hunting has really picked up, especially with soy beans in the field.
I tend to let more deer walk by than I shoot and Gabriel tends to take the hunt a little more seriously than I. I'm good with that to be honest. Sometimes I sit in the stand with the sole intention of making a canteen cup of hot chocolate or coffee and warm a few snacks while listening to God's creation ever singing so sweetly in tune.
November winds are cooler and the days are shorter and the relaxation from it all is priceless.
