Bread is one of our favorite things to eat around our bushcraft base camp. It's a real treat to bake yeast bread!

Our recipe is really simple. 3 cups of flour, 3 teaspoons of yeast, 3 to 6 tablespoons of sugar, 3 tablespoons of olive oil and one half tablespoon of salt.

Normally we'll use 16-18 coals on the bottom and 10-12 on top to get a temperature near 375 degrees but we ended up putting more on the top and less on the bottom and that caused the top to bake faster than the bottom. Even so the bread turned out great!
